There are so many small rules of etiquette in both public and private play spaces, let’s discuss the most common unspoken rules that you can start with to help insure that you will be invited back for more fun.

In this lecture style class, I will be talking about things that have gone horridly awry and what ethics I hold. We do some fucked up shit, how do we handle it and what are our responsibilities as tops and bottoms including medical bills and long term physical or emotional consequences. How to think though things that might go wrong and how to handle things that no one saw coming. This class may be very intense so please be thoughtful about seeing to your own needs and possible triggers.

 Rope connection: (ROPE 102)


Lecture/Workshop (Beginner)

Recommended time: 90 minutes

Continuing with the house analogy, once you have a solid foundation, you are then able to build the framework that CONNECTS any foundation. This workshop starts with a discussion on “Why we tie?”, which explore the concepts of mood and connection between ourselves and our partners. We then move into a hands-on portion where we further explore mood and connection while adding in techniques in tension and flow to enhance and deepen the experience.

Prerequisites:

Students are expected to identify basic vocabulary, safety concerns and materials of rope bondage. Students must also be able to demonstrate a non-cinching single column knot. Rope Foundations, ROPE 101, fulfills this requirement.

Materials:

Students are encouraged to bring a safe cutting device and at least one (1) piece rope at least 15-30 ft long. Also suggested is a mat or blanket for sitting on the floor.

 

With the Beat:(KINK 115) 


“Art is how you decorate space, Music is how you decorate time.” -unknown. When people scene together they share time with each other, adding music decorates the time you spend together and creates something even more beautiful. This class goes over the science why it can be beneficial to scene with music. The class then moves into breaking down music in a way that can be incorporated into scenes and things to consider when building a playlist.

 Rope Sensation: (ROPE 103)

Lecture/Workshop (Beginner)

Recommended time: 90 minutes

This workshop starts with a discussion on different sensations that rope can create. We go over risk and safety considerations we should apply when negotiate a rope sensation scene. We then move into a hands-on portion where we further explore techniques that produce the different sensations, we discussed to help us add color to our scenes.
